What are my chances to get life insurance here in Manhattan after I had breast cancer?

Generally, life insurance companies deal differently with various cases of cancer. Usually, the first thing they have to do is know the extent of the case. Life insurance companies in Manhattan and other places for that matter, ask a lot of question on the patient. They verify when the illness occurred, what kind of tumor there is, what stage is the breast cancer, the treatment done so far and what is the current situation. Life insurance companies would usually require you to fill up questionnaires and would verify from the attending physician. With this information, life insurance companies will have various quotes but they would most likely provide life insurance when the patient received treatment.
If you received treatment during stage 1 of your breast cancer, you have high chances of getting life insurance. But just like any life insurance with health problems, you may need to pay high premiums. These high premiums will be due any applicant who had treatment for about 5 years past already (during 1 to 2 stage of the cancer). If it goes beyond five years, there are chances that you pay normal premiums. Only if the cancer case is at stage four will the life insurance company decline the life insurance application.
